Art Schemes and lesson plans

Here are some examples of art schemes based on a particular theme. An art scheme ideally comprises three or four art lessons which show progression in art making. This may be through developing skills in a certain medium e.g. a series of lessons using various printing techniques. Or the progression may be in terms of deepening insight into a particular topic by exploring it through a variety of media.
Study the following exemplars. They may be adapted to suit your class or you may follow the model to create an art scheme for your pupils
